- Extract the ZIP. Keep the
warden-devnet-testfolder somewhere permanent, such as Documents. - Open Chrome’s extensions page. Type
chrome://extensionsinto the address bar in a new tab. - Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner, then click Load unpacked.
- Select the extracted folder containing
manifest.json. Select the folder, not the ZIP file. - Open Warden. Click Chrome’s puzzle-piece Extensions menu, then Warden DEVNET TEST. Your wallet opens in a new tab.
Keep the extracted folder at the same location. Moving it or removing the extension can stop your existing passkeys from opening the test wallet.
Need help installing?
If Chrome says the manifest is missing, open the extracted folder and select the inner folder containing manifest.json. If Developer mode is unavailable on a managed computer, ask its administrator.
To update later, replace the files in the same folder and click Reload on chrome://extensions. Then reload this test page.
2. Create your wallet
Open Warden from Chrome’s Extensions menu. If the wallet was already open, click Check balances to refresh its devnet status.
- Click Request 1 devnet SOL to fund this tab’s fee payer. If the faucet is busy, send test SOL to the fee-payer address shown in Warden.
- Click Create / resume wallet. Create your passkey, then approve the separate account-creation prompt.
- After creation confirms, click Add 0.05 devnet SOL to fund your wallet for testing.
Keep the wallet tab open. Copy the extension ID shown under Connect from the test website, then connect below.
3. Connect Warden
After creating your wallet in the extension, paste its extension ID below. Reload this page after installing Warden so Chrome can make the connection.

4. Send test SOL
